Email personalization
Constituents expect content that is relevant in their inbox. A great way to create engaging, relevant content is by using email personalization techniques. You’ll see the words “personalize” and “dynamic” in this documentation — both words reference techniques to use data you have about your constituents to deliver specific, relevant versions of content.
Some examples of personalization techniques include:
- Adding a recipient's first name in the content with a personalization string
- Including a unique URL to a survey for each recipient with a personalization string
- Showing a different version of a content block based upon each recipient's campus with dynamic content blocks
- Providing different event invite suggestions with dynamic content blocks based upon topics a constituent has indicated interest in.
